Endive stir-fried with sesame and ginger

290gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 clove of garlic |
1 tablespoon of (sesame) oil |
750 grams of endive |
2 spring onions |
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds |
piece of ginger root (size of ½ inch) |
Preparation
1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
2. Peel and grate the piece of ginger.
3. Cut the garlic into narrow strips.
4. Clean the endive and cut into strips.
5. Wash the spring onions and cut into rings.
6. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and fry the ginger and garlic in it.
7. Then add the onion rings and endive and stir-fry for a few minutes until tender.
8. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Menu suggestion: Delicious with omelette strips and potatoes.
