Mango snake treat

Ingredients

3 medium-sized ripe mangoes (approx. 700g mango excl. stone/peel) |
4 Medjoul dates |
128 dried cranberries (approx. 80g) |
8 cocktail sticks |
Preparation
This hissing mango snake is coming your way. Its head may look gruesome, but it is oh so delicious! What will you sink your teeth into first?
- Cut the Medjoul dates in half lengthwise with a sharp knife.
- First, thread the mango cubes onto a skewer or use needle + dental floss. Slide the ½ date on top.
- Garnish the mango cubes with the cranberries.
- Make the eyes: take 1 cocktail stick and break off the ends (approx. 2 cm per end). Prick 2 cranberries onto it. The ingredients on the right are enough for about 8 treats.
Tips:
- Instead of fresh mango, you can buy frozen mango: healthy and ready to use straight away. You will need about 3 packs of 250 g.
- Are strawberries in season? Then you can also make the cup out of strawberry.
