220gr vegetables p.p. & 150gr fruit p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
500 grams of turnips |
2 sweet apples |
1 spring onion |
60 grams of unsalted mixed nuts |
freshly ground pepper |
2 tablespoons of yoghurt |
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon of chives |
Preparation
What to do with a turnip? Turn it into a fresh salad with turnip,apples, nuts and spring onion. This recipe is quick to put on the table, easy to make and very tasty too!
1. Wash the turnip well and cut a slice from the top and bottom
2. Cut the turnip in half and then into thin slices
3. Wash the apples. Cut in half and remove the core.
4. Cut the apple into thin slices
5. Mix apple and turnip in a bowl
6. Mix dressing ingredients in a small bowl and spoon through salad
7. Divide the salad between 2 plates
8. Coarsely chop the nuts and sprinkle over the salad
9. Cut the spring onion into rings and sprinkle over the salad
10. Sprinkle with some freshly ground pepper if desired
