Turnip with ginger

300gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
1 tablespoon of oil |
piece of ginger root (size of 1 inch) |
500 grams of turnip |
½ chilli |
1 small leek (approx. 100 grams) |
Preparation
1. Peel and grate the piece of ginger.
2. Cut the leek into rings.
3. Cut the half pepper into strips.
4. Peel and dice the turnip.
5. Fry the ginger with the leeks gently in the oil.
6. Add the turnip with the pepper strips and some water. Braise the turnip for about 6 minutes.
Serving suggestion: Delicious with cashew nuts and potatoes.
