Quick pizza made of Turkish bread

200gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
1 round of brown Turkish bread |
1 thin leek |
2 teaspoons of dried Italian herbs |
1/2 can of diced tomatoes without salt |
250 grams of (red) onion or 1 small courgette |
250 grams of mushrooms or other vegetables |
2 tablespoons of oil |
50 grams of grated 30+ mature cheese |
Preparation
Something different for lunch: make your own pizza from Turkish bread! Tasty with lots of vegetables on it like leeks and mushrooms. It will be delicious!
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Cut the bread lengthwise to make 2 pizza bases.
- Clean and thinly slice the leeks.
- Mix the leeks and Italian kitchen herbs with the diced tomatoes and stir to make a sauce.
- Clean and chop the vegetables. Briefly stir-fry the vegetables in the oil.
- Coat the bread bases with the tomato sauce and divide the vegetables on top. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Bake the bread pizzas for about 10 minutes until done and crispy. Cut them into points.
