250gr vegetables p.p.

Ingredients

2 persons

vinegar
50g dried apples
2 cloves
1 tablespoon sugar
cinnamon
½ red cabbage or 500g sliced red cabbage

Preparation

1. Shave the red cabbage into fine strands.
2. Bring the cabbage to the boil with little water, the apples, the cloves, some pepper and cinnamon.
3. Cook the red cabbage for 30 minutes until tender.
4. Remove the cloves and season the cabbage with some vinegar and sugar.

Menu suggestion: Delicious with a fried chicken leg and potatoes.
