Vegetables in a packet

220gr vegetables p.p.
Ingredients
2 persons
piece of celeriac (approx. 100g) |
grated zest of 1 lime |
1 small winter carrot (approx. 160g) |
1 small red onion (approx. 60g) |
½ dl vegetable stock with less salt |
2 stalks of celery |
Preparation
1. Clean the vegetables.
2. Cut the celery into narrow strips, the celeriac into small cubes and the carrot into thin slices.
3. Mix the vegetables with the lime zest and stock.
4. Cut 2 large pieces of baking paper and divide the vegetables between them. Fold the baking paper lightly like a candy wrapper.
5. Place the packets in a steamer pan or a colander.
6. Bring a bottom of water to the boil in a pan and place the other part of the steamer pan or colander on top. Steam the vegetables with a lid on the pan for 15-20 minutes until tender.
Menu suggestion: Delicious with salmon and a baked potato from the oven.
