25 September 2025
Healthy snacking does not have to be boring at all. On the contrary: with fruit and vegetables, you can put a colourful, tasty and nutritious snack on the table in no time. Whether you work at home, are on the road or just want a snack, nature provides plenty of inspiration.

In the run-up to National Fruit and Vegetable Day (9 October), we inspire you to also enjoy fruit and vegetables between meals and show you how easy it can be. In this blog, you will find some delicious snack recipes that you can try right away!
1. Cucumber rolls with salmon
A fresh, festive snack that not only looks good, but is also full of flavour. Cut thin ribbons from a cucumber, place a strip of smoked salmon on top and roll up. Optionally finish with a little cream cheese and dill for an extra sophisticated touch.

2. Apple slices with nut butter, banana, cinnamon and hemp seeds
Enjoy sweet apple slices topped with nut butter, banana slices, a hint of cinnamon and some hemp seeds. Perfect for when you fancy something fruity as well as nutritious.

3. Celery boats with bean dip
Crunchy celery stuffed with a creamy bean dip is ideal as a savoury snack with lots of fibre and few unhealthy additives.

4. Stuffed avocado pieces with tomato-cucumber salsa
Delicious and refreshing: half avocados stuffed with a salsa of tomato, red onion, cucumber and lime. Light, flavourful and packed with healthy fats.

5. Candy vegetables with fresh ravigote sauce
Try colourful snack vegetables (such as pepper, cucumber, carrot, etc.) with a spicy, fresh ravigote sauce. A snack that looks fun AND tastes delicious.
