On hot, sultry days, you would prefer to spend as little time as possible in the kitchen. Fortunately, there are plenty of tasty, easy and nutritious salads that you can put on the table in 15 minutes. Perfect as lunch, light supper or colourful side dish. In this blog, we share some fresh salads that are not only tasty, but also cool.

They are easily digestible, packed with vegetables and fruit, and can often be prepared without a cooker or oven. So they are also ideal for camping. Besides, you can vary them endlessly with what you have at home. And say it yourself: a crunchy salad with fresh dressing and delicious vegetables sounds very appealing, doesn't it?

We have listed our favourite recipes for you. All easy and quick.

1. Pea salad with red onion and cherry tomatoes

A colourful and light salad: peas, cherry tomatoes, a pinch of thyme and red onion. Ready within 10-20 minutes, full of greens and with a fresh taste. Perfect as a side dish or as the basis for a quick meal.

2. Summer salad with beetroot, raspberry and goat cheese

This salad is a party on your plate. Precooked beets, sweet raspberries, creamy goat cheese and fresh apple create the perfect balance of sweet, sour and creamy. Ready in 10 minutes!

3. Fresh salad with tomato and goat cheese

Prefer a slightly heartier salad? This version with frisée (or endive), tomato, parsley and a honey-mustard dressing is delicious in combination with toasted bread and goat's cheese.

4. Salad with oyster mushrooms

This salad has a surprising twist: oyster mushrooms briefly fried with sesame seeds. Together with rocket, spring onion and coriander, it gives a savoury, Asian-inspired flavour.
