Tunisian spiced carrots (Mzoura)

215gr vegetables p.p.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
750g carrots
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion
½ teaspoon ground coriander
piece of pepper
parsley
1 clove garlic

Preparation

1. Clean and slice the carrots. Boil the carrots in a little water until tender.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the piece of pepper small.
4. Fry the onion, garlic, pepper, cumin seeds and ground coriander in the oil until soft.
5. Mix into the carrots and sprinkle generously with small chopped parsley.

Menu suggestion: Delicious with whole-wheat couscous and cod.
