Kalettes® are a type of cabbage rose with curly, purplish-green leaves. Kalettes® are a cross between kale and Brussels sprouts. Besides looking pretty, the sweet, nutty flavour of cabbage provides a delicious taste sensation. Kalettes® are rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre. The vegetable is available from November to March.

Storage
You can store Kalettes® in a closed container for four to seven days in the refrigerator.
Preparation
You can boil, steam or wok the Kalettes. The sprouts can also be made into a tasty powerrrrsmoothie.

Steaming: 5-6 minutes
Wok cooking: 2-3 minutes
